MACACOS DO CHINÊS

After a hiatus of almost 15 years, the Macacos do Chinês return in 2025 to perform on the WTF stage at NOS ALIVE.

Born in 2007, they have always embraced "fusion" as a vital element of their creation; the Portuguese language and its guitar, the cultural universe of the United Kingdom (such as grime and bass culture), and the fluidity and power of creole have always been part of each member's life and continue to be sources of inspiration today.

Although brief, the MDC's career left behind 2 albums - "Ruídos Reais", "Vida Louca", a mixtape "Mixtape do C#&-#*" and striking tracks like "Rolling na Reboleira", "Plutão", "Lázaro", "Selva" and "Saudade".

"There are things that were born to persist despite mutations. Life took each of us to various corners of the world, but we knew it was just a matter of time until we felt the call of 'our' concrete jungle and music. We returned as if we had never left."
