Cristóvam is a singer-songwriter born in Angra do Heroísmo (Terceira-Azores), known for his emotional writing and evocative melodies.
Since debuting with Hopes & Dreams in 2018, he has built a reputation for emotional honesty, both in the studio and on stage. In 2020, his song "Andrà Tutto Bene" went viral, becoming an anthem of resistance during the pandemic — a landmark moment that caught the attention of the label V2 Records (Mumford & Sons, Kaiser Chiefs, Ziggy Marley), with which he has collaborated ever since.
He released the acclaimed Songs “On A Wire” in 2022, followed by “Unwired” in 2023, a more intimate version of the same work.
Cristóvam describes the act of acting as an exercise in vulnerability:
- "We expose parts of ourselves — corners of the soul that are normally hidden... But I believe that when we open up in this way, people feel the songs in a different way"
That raw connection defines his concerts, where sincerity builds a powerful bridge between artists and public.
He has shared stages with artists such as Stu Larsen, Tim Hart and Scott Matthews, and has been distinguished with several awards, including first place in the International Songwriting Competition and two IPMA Awards.
His new album, “Desert of Fools”, set for release on October 10, 2025 via V2 Records, includes 11 new tracks, including the singles "Wild Dreams" and "Fever" (featuring Boy & Bear).
