GÉNESE - 40 YEARS OF SPIRRIT

It was on 18 August 1984 that a group of Azorean artists decided to get together in Praia Formosa, in a gathering of musicians that gave rise to a ‘magical night’ and the first of many tides.

The Maré de Agosto Cultural Association wishes to mark this date with all our festival-goers by putting together a programme full of culture that touches on many areas of the arts and bringing together the island's SPIRRIT just a few days before the 40th edition of the Maré de Agosto Festival takes place.
