Sara Cruz, from São Miguel Island in the Azores, will open the second day of the Festival.
The artist was announced at the presentation of the Maré de Agosto Festival during the Lisbon Tourism Exchange 2024, and gave the audience a small sample of her work.
Her music is an engaging fusion of pop and folk that offers a deeply reflective listening experience.
With Sara having released two singles and her first album already announced for this year, the organisation aims to contribute to the growth and expansion of artists from the Azores.
