WHERE CAN I GET MY TICKETS?
If you are a member of the Associação Cultural da Maré de Agosto, you can only do so through MARÉ STORE, from the 1st of July to the 20th of August, from Monday to Friday, from 10:00-13:00 and 14:00-18:00, and on August 21st, from 10:00-13:00. Alternatively, you can also purchase tickets at the Festival ticket office, located in Praia Formosa during the event, from 16:00 to 00:00.
If you are not a member of the Associação Cultural da Maré de Agosto and wish to purchase Festival Pack or Daily Tickets, you can do so through MARÉ STORE (at the times indicated above), at the Festival ticket offices (at the times indicated above), at CTT, and at BOL (online).
If you are not a member, you can also purchase the Festival Pack, at the RIAC (Integrated Citizen Support Network) in all the islands of the Azores, at the BESTRAVEL agencies in Ponta Delgada (São Miguel Island) and Angra do Heroísmo (Terceira Island), at the TURANGRA on Graciosa Island, and also at the REPSOL Gas Station in Vila do Porto (Santa Maria Island).
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE TO PURCHASE A TICKET?
Children aged 13 or under do not need a ticket to enter the festival grounds, however, they must be accompanied by an adult and their respective personal identification upon entry.
HOW CAN I EXCHANGE THE TICKET FOR THE FESTIVAL ACCESS BRACELET?
Tickets must be exchanged for wristbands to access the festival grounds. You can exchange your bracelet at MARÉ STORE, on the 19th and 20th of August, from 10:00-13:00 and 14:00-18:00, and on the 21st of August, from 10:00-13:00: 00. Alternatively, you can also make the exchange at the kiosk installed specifically for this purpose at the Festival ticket office, located in Praia Formosa during the event, from 16:00 to 00:00.
AFTER PICKING UP MY BRACELET, CAN I GET RID OF MY TICKET?
No. The bracelet is valid for entering and leaving the venue. However, the ticket is proof of purchasing entry to the festival and can be requested at any time at the venue.
WHEN THE BRACELET IS PUT ON ME, CAN I TAKE IT OFF?
No. Any visible damage to the bracelet will result in non-entry. The bracelet will act as a ticket at the entrance to facilitate control. Therefore, if it is found to be sewn, tied or loose, you will not be able to enter the premises.
If you have any type of allergy or profession that requires removing the bracelet, this must be mentioned and proven when putting on the bracelet so that a new one can be placed daily. The bracelet to be removed must be presented daily and handed over to the organization when a new one is placed.
THE TICKET OFFICES HAVE CLOSED, DO I HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE WAY TO PURCHASE A TICKET?
Yes. The organization offers the Out of Hours Ticket, which corresponds to a ticket sold after the closing time (00:00) of the ticket office in Praia Formosa. It has a single cost, no member benefits and is only valid for the day of issue.
It can be purchased at the Palco Maré entrance.
DOES THE FESTIVAL PACK ALREADY INCLUDE CAMPING?
No. The Praia Formosa Campsite is owned by the Vila do Porto City Council and is under concession to a private company (Paraíso Matizado, Lda.), so all questions and requests for information about the Campsite must be placed on the aforementioned entities.

WHAT ARE THE RESTRICTIONS ON ENTRY TO THE PREMISES?
The following objects/articles are not permitted to enter the Maré de Agosto grounds:
- Dangerous objects (knives, any type of weapon, etc.);
- Glass objects (bottles, perfumes, etc.);
- Beverages and respective containers;
- Unaccredited professional cameras/video cameras;
- Sound recorders;
- Pets;
- Helmets;
- GoPro Stick/Selfie Stick or similar;
- Any object that can be thrown.
Failure to comply with these rules gives the organization the right to be expelled from the event, with the respective tickets/wristbands being canceled without the right to a refund. The organization of the event, using its decision-making powers, reserves the right to use other legal means.
CAN I ENTER AND LEAVE THE PREMISES?
Yes. After exchanging your ticket for the respective festival access bracelet, you will be able to enter and leave whenever you wish.
WHAT TIME DO THE CONCERTS START?
All festival concerts start at 10pm with the first band of the night taking to the stage. It is advisable to go to the venue in good time to avoid queues. Please note that the venue doors open at 9pm and close at 7am.
WHERE CAN I PURCHASE THE FESTIVAL MERCHANDISE?
You can do so through MARÉ STORE, from the 1st of July to the 20th of August, from Monday to Friday, from 10:00-13:00 and 14:00-18:00, and on the 21st August, from 10:00 to 13:00. During the Festival you can also purchase your merchandise at the kiosk placed for this purpose inside the venue.
I RESIDENT IN PRAIA FORMOSA, WHERE CAN I REQUEST MY FREE TRANSIT?
On Festival days, access to the Praia Formosa waterfront is granted to the Festival organization, and there are several restrictions on traffic circulation and vehicle parking.
If you live in Praia Formosa, you must request your free pass at MARÉ STORE, from the 1st of July to the 19th of August, from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 -18:00. You must indicate your personal and vehicle details.
Make your request in time, after the start of the Festival no free passes are issued.
Respect the instructions of Security Force agents. Inside your vehicle, place your license plate visibly.
WHERE CAN I GET A PASS FOR PAID PARKING?
You can reserve a parking space at MARÉ STORE, from the 1st of July until the 20th of August, from Monday to Friday, from 10:00-13:00 and 14:00-18:00. You must indicate your personal and vehicle details.
Make your request in time, as the availability of spaces is subject to the capacity of the Car Park.
Through your parking pass, you expressly acknowledge that the organizers cannot be held responsible for any risks or damages or any other incident that occurs during your vehicle's stay inside the parking area.
